Hello, and welcome to my website! Here you will find my online portfolio featuring some of my favorite pieces. I love being creative, and my work shows how my interests span different medias- weather it is pencil drawing, watercolor painting, photo illustrations, or even making cartoons.
Artist Statement: I get a lot of my inspiration from the calm and beauty of the natural world. Flowers, plants, and animals are common themes in most of my paintings and drawinigs. Earth tones have always been comforting to me, and to be able to use my favorite colors in my artwork is very therapeutic. My tensions from the day are released with the liquid flow of forest green, rose petal pink, or red clay. I love to read, it is one of my favorite past times. Words can be a thing of beauty and have thus inspired work with quotes, phrases, and even letter shapes themselves. But minus all this serious stuff I really love to laugh! I try to see the humor in everyday life. I try to portray it in my artwork, in juxtaposition of my love for earth tones, to using bright, vibrant colors. So one day I may feel like working in tan and navy blue, the next will be hot pink and florescent orange.
