I am a constant doodler, whenever I have free time, or should I say when I start to day dream, I draw all sorts of different characters. In my day dreaming I have started to fill my sketch book with drawings and watercolors of mice. Mice are such small creatures that most people are afraid of, but I find them endearing in a sense. So these cute little guys find a way into my Christmas card designs almost every year.

Using Adobe Illustrator for drawings/illustrations is great! I love how I can digitally manipulate colors, shapes, and pen strokes that is not always easy to do with ink and paint. Again, Christmas time is when I start plugging away in Illustrator, a lot of my best pieces were made for holiday cards or flyers.

One of my favorite artists is Georgia O'Keefe. As the saying goes imitation is the sincerous form of faltery, so alot of acrylic paintings are based on some of my favorite O'Keefe paintings.
